Cool Pants

For Christmas, I got really awesome pants. They are bright red, stretchy, from Abercrombie, and I love them. The only problem is that they don't match with ANYTHING!!! But that does not stop me from adoring them. All hail the pants!!

TinTin

I just saw The Adventures of TinTin (it is WJ's birthday)and it was pretty good. I thought it was going to be horrible, but it was okay. Not the best movie ever, though. The plot was good.

Really Good Shepherd's Pie

I was in Boston the other day, dropping off my aunt at the train station, and we went to a really cute Irish pub. I got the shepherd's pie, and it was delicious! I don't even like mashed potatoes, but I loved this. So if you're in Boston, look for Mr. Dooley's. It's fantastic!;)

Starts with Mud

Our addition is starting, and they are working on the mudroom first. So outside our side door there is a big hole with cement in it. Part of our deck is gone. When I first saw that there was a strait drop outside the door, I was very afraid that I would fall off the edge. But then, Mom pointed out to me that there was a piece of wood over the door, preventing us from opening it. Whoever did that was a smart person. But there is dirt all over our yard and driveway from the digging, and today it rained. I guess a mudroom starts with mud!

Trees

We went  tree cutting last Saturday, and the farm was going to close the next day! Dec. 10th is not time to stop selling!  The place that we were going to go was already closed. How do trees stay alive that long? People are so ahead on holiday decorating this year!

Heat at Last!

After going days without heat or hot water (a sign that the addition might begin soon), everything is sback on!! I am so happy!

Race

Tomorrow there is a race for my school's running club. I ran the course yesterday in 10:40(it's just over a mile). That was counting an untied shoe and my ipod falling. I am really excited, but I just learned that a really fast kid is running. Oh No!!!! wish me luck!

Paintball

We went paintballing on Sunday. a bunch of wj's friends got together for a sort-of bithday. they were suprised that I was going. it was really fun but it hurt, even though I only got hit twice. Once in the leg and once in the mouth. Who knew it tasted so bad? do you like my colors?

cool boots

I got these cool boots, andd they're from Teva. Who knew that they made winter boots? They"re a creamy off-white and have gray fur inside.(fake, of course) The only thing rong is that they give me blisters. But I think they just need to be broken in.

Ireland

So, yeah. Mom wants me to talk about a lot of things. I decided to start with travel. This summer I went to Ireland with my family. We stayed at The Lodge at Doonbeg. Our suite was as big as our house, and the beach was about two miles long. The golf course was stunning, and the spa was WICKED. We went horseback riding, and our day in Dublin was fantastic. Temple Bar was extremely fun, with all the cobblestones and live music. Their batchellorette parties have themes. We saw about five in one night. I liked the Pocahontis one the best. You should go to Ireland next summer.

The Italians Are Geniuses

SLJ talks.  SLJ talks a lot.  SLJ has talked me into a dither.


So SLJ has a blog.


I hope she writes about the food she loves.  (She loves Italian food.  Especially pies from the Covalucci's at Thanksgiving.  And especially from Acappella Restaurant in Manhattan, where they opened early for us on New Year's Eve.


I hope she writes about the travel she loves.  She's been some great places in her short life.  I hope she captures some of the fun she's had.


I hope she writes about the fashion she loves.  Because she LOVES fashion.  And talking about it.  Which sort of bores me.  And talking about it more.  Which bores me more, sort of.  Hence, the blog.


I hope she adds plenty of videos and pictures.
